The Donation Process
Step 1: Get In Touch Contact us to discuss your potential donation: 01905 774312
Step 2: Assessment We'll discuss your items, their significance, and how they fit with our collections.
Step 3: Documentation We'll record the provenance and history of your donation.
Step 4: Acceptance If your donation is accepted, we'll arrange transfer and provide you with documentation.
Step 5: Stewardship Your donated items are professionally cared for and may be:
- Displayed in permanent or temporary exhibitions
- Conserved and preserved
- Digitized and catalogued
- Used in educational and research programmes
- Featured in our blog or social media
