Volunteer at the Heritage Centre:

Volunteering at the Heritage Centre is a great way to get involved in supporting and sharing the history of our local area.

We have a limited number of volunteer opportunities available. We are looking for friendly, calm and confident individuals who are happy to welcome visitors and provide information in a clear and helpful way.

As a volunteer, you may help visitors by sharing information about the town, selling souvenirs, booking coach trips, and using the till to handle payments.

Our Ideal Volunteer

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a good knowledge of Droitwich, or the ability to learn local information quickly.
  • Can easily build a rapport with visitors, you may be the first impression someone has of Droitwich, so creating a warm and positive welcome is important.
  • Has an interest in local history and enjoys sharing historical facts in an engaging way.
